Once a sinner has obeyed the gospel, the next question is not whether he belongs somewhere spiritually, but where the Lord places the saved. The New Testament answer is clear: Christ adds the saved to His church.
That church is not a denomination created by men, not a religious brand, and not a building of stone and wood. It is the spiritual body of Christ — made up of those who have obeyed the gospel and now belong to Him.
"I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it."

These are not light matters. They shape how we understand belonging, worship, truth, and salvation.
Have I confused denomination with the one body of Christ?
Do I understand the difference between the universal church and a local congregation?
Have I obeyed the gospel so that the Lord has added me to His church?
Am I seeking a church built on New Testament authority rather than human tradition?
Am I submitting to Christ alone as Head?
Every claim on this page is grounded in the New Testament.
Christ built one church.
He bought it with His blood.
He adds the saved to it.
He rules it as its only Head.
The universal church is all the saved in Christ.
The local church is Christians assembled in a place.
Both must be understood by the New Testament pattern.
The question is not what men have built. The question is what Christ established.
